Dan the Lion
Daniel, “Dan.” The strong, generous man who inspired all of this.
About us
Danthelion Project was born from a life given to others, and from the conviction that every seed sent in love keeps bearing fruit.
Our story
Faith. Resilience. Compassion.
Danthelion began as a quiet tribute to my father, Daniel. As I prayed and reflected, it became clear to me this was more than an idea. It was a way to carry forward what I believe God had planted long before I understood it. My father taught me resilience, often without words. He showed me how to keep going, to stand firm, and to trust that even hard seasons can be used for good. In honoring his memory, I choose that same courage.
The dandelion became our symbol because, despite looking delicate, it is remarkably strong.
The heart of the Danthelion Project is to plant seeds that last: faith, truth, compassion, courage and opportunity. Through care, education and support, we want to reach children, young people, adults, the elderly, anyone and everyone, with something that endures.
We want that mission to keep traveling. Like dandelion seeds the wind carries far, every act of help can bloom in places we never imagined.
Did you know…?
A dandelion’s taproot usually reaches 6 to 18 inches (15 to 45 cm) down, and even a piece of root as short as one inch (2.5 cm) can grow into a new plant. Cut it back, and it often comes back.
You found them all! Thank you for wandering with us. Every small seed counts.
“Dandelion seeds the wind carries far, never choosing where they fall, and still they take root.”
«Las semillas del dandelion que el viento lleva lejos, sin elegir dónde caer, y aun así echan raíz.»
The idea behind Danthelion
The name
It sounds like dandelion, but it carries two lions inside.
Daniel, “Dan.” The strong, generous man who inspired all of this.
“See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah… has triumphed” (Revelation 5:5). Our faith and our hope.
Small, light, unstoppable. What we release with generosity is born again somewhere else.
Our focus
We want to walk alongside children in orphanages in Argentina, so they have access to learning, mentors and the chance to discover their purpose.
